Founded in 2019, Light Space Architecture Office is a San Francisco firm working across residential renovations and ground-up construction throughout the Bay Area. This is their first portfolio site — a public presence to match the precision of the work itself. The brief was a site that feels considered rather than templated: modern, adaptable, and built to let the projects speak.

Designed in tight partnership and collaboration with developer Josh Dreier and shaped throughout alongside the LSAO team, this site built on a fast, durable static site generator. The centerpiece is a custom project layout: an irregular grid that breaks from uniformity but holds a strong internal logic, mixing text and image so each project reads as its own composition. Images fade in on scroll, a secondary header returns on scroll-up, and elegant typography keeps the whole site restrained and exacting, right in step with the firm's own sensibility.
